Nate knew a life of colour when he had Stella by his side.
Now she's gone, her life cut short, he sinks deep into darkness when he discovers who is responsible.
He leaves town and leads a quiet life keeping to himself, not feeling he deserves anything more than just merely existing, in all the darkness.
Edie is trapped in her life, made prisoner by those who are meant to love and protect her.
She is drowning in a quicksand she can't breathe in. She's lost her voice, her strength, her self-esteem.
When these two cross paths, they'll both wonder if they deserve happiness. Can they make their way out of the darkness and to happiness with each other?
How do we convince ourselves we deserve happiness? How do we live with the dark acts we have committed?
All The Darkness explores the parts of our minds we try to keep hidden, even from ourselves.
"As much as I love All the Colours, All the Darkness resounded with me so much more for personal reasons.
Beautifully written; it was clear, crisp, and well constructed. It is written in first person POV, Nate and Edie, and Lo-arna Green masterfully knits their journeys—together and apart—interweaving supporting characters, and skillfully merging sufficient backstory and foreshadow. Expect to be thrust upon a roller coaster of emotions. Though I highly recommend reading All the Colours, this book can stand on it’s own, making it unnecessary to read book one to understand the story.
I'm not one to synopsize a book, but know this: Sometimes we must endure the darkness to finally live within the light. Lo-arna Green definitely has shown how it could and can be done."
"I thoroughly enjoyed this book! 'All The Darkness' took me on an emotional journey with of one of the many characters from 'All The Colours'. I shared his experiences through grief, life and new love. As I was introduced to new characters, I was hooked with the anticipation of their relationships with characters I had grown to love in Lo-Arna's 'All The Colours'. Once again, this author has produced a very hard to put down read. I am eager to continue reading her books! Absolutely loved it!"
"I was very excited about the release of this book after enjoying All The Colours so much. I was not disappointed. All The Darkness adds a dark twist on top of the romance. I couldn't put the book down and read it in one day!! I was drawn into every word on the page, it boiled up emotions in me unlike any other book I've read. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Definitely in my top 5 all time favorites!! Thanks Lo-arna for another amazing read."
"I feel honoured that I have been lucky enough to find this extremely, AMAZINGLY TALENTED author!
The emotional roller coaster I've embraced by this book has left me in.... Awe...
Being able to mentally walk in every characters life path, truly feeling, breathing and reliving each of their journey has brought me even more strength in the person I am proudly becoming!
This book - it hits home for me in so many ways.... A nice warm, embracing home.
What I love the most about the books in this series so far is it honours my favourite life values I hold strongly..
~everything in life happens for a reason! No matter how tough times may feel, it's suppose to teach us life lessons so we are able to learn, grow and become who we were always meant to become!~~~ KEEP MOVING FORWARD."
"A breathtakingly honest read!
All the Darkness, true to its title explores deepest and darkest realms within; by following the struggles of Nate and Edie as they cope with the things that we don't talk about. Indulge in the journey of learning to become human again as your senses are ensnared by the incredibly talented author Lo-arna Green."
"This is a fantastic love story between interesting characters. Some of this is so beautifully written that it's like poetry:
"My blood. His Sweat. My tears. His spit."
"I see the fear beginning to bloom in her pretty eyes."
"I tell her about red. Red is for dead. Red stains on my hand and what they represent."
