I went on holidays and then I moved. Also had a bad 'endo flare' in there too.
Yes. I have been writing. Okay? Mainly poetry but there has been some (snail-pace) progress on my novels. I've got all the bones down for Believe in Stone and my historical romance, Paper Dreams is coming along nicely as well.
I flew 'home.' I'm not sure I can still call it home given I left 11 years ago but you know what I mean. Since Mum left my hometown to care for my grandparents in her hometown, going home now entails a three city tour. I usually fly to Melbourne and see family there, then drive to Bendigo for Mum and Pop, and my eldest sister etc etc and then drive to Albury, my hometown for my bestie.
This is usually done in as little as 3-5 days so I am left absolutely shattered afterwards. It's worth it to see everyone though, it was my first time back in three years. I was greeted with some insane weather driving from Bendigo to Albury, I got a heap of water in my shoes multiple times getting coffee and then I had a mishap with the hire car (I won't get into it but let's say it is cactus and my cousin and I had an entertaining couple of hours). After the two truck came, the strap also snapped and so the car sailed into oncoming traffic. He was really quick though and saved the day.

My boyfriend and I decided to get all romantic and get some candles out, then I unromantically singed some of my hair. Still a good time though. My office is better here and the kids love it too.
